SACRAMENTS

Baptism
Parent(s) are encouraged to call the Parish Center before the child is born to enroll in the Baptismal Preparation Program. Older youth and adults who have not been baptized should contact the Parish Center at (513) 271-0920.

Reconciliation
Celebrated during Advent and Lent in a Community-wide liturgy. Also available by appointment with the pastor OR on Saturdays from 3:00-3:45 p.m. at St. Cecilia Church, 3105 Madison Road.

First Eucharist
Celebrated during the 8:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. Liturgies late April or early May. Family Preparation: “Do This in Memory of Me” takes place in the spring. The Blessing Cup Meal and a mini-retreat are part of the preparation.

Confirmation
Celebrated every other year, with the PMAAC (Parishes Ministering in African American Communities) parishes. Candidates and parents come together for prayer, then are engaged in separate formation sessions. Added to that will be a retreat for the candidates and group service projects.

Marriage
Congratulations! If you are a couple to be married at St. Anthony Church, please contact the Pastor at least six months prior to your proposed wedding date. Each couple is required to participate in a Parish program of preparation which includes:
  * Meeting with a sponsor couple;
  * Taking the Focus inventory;
  * Participating in a required Archdiocesan program such as PreCana; and
  * Meeting with the priest who will witness your marriage vows.

Anointing of the Sick
Contact the Parish Center at (513) 271-0920 if you have a loved one in the hospital or preparing for serious surgery.

Holy Orders
